The abandoned VW study.
One day I came to work, looked out the window and saw this little cute Volkswagen apparently abandoned at the wasteland behind the building. I didn't expect that it would be there for months. Over time I had developed an emotional bond with it, and I couldn't help photographing it evey once in a while, with different cameras, on different films, in ever changing conditions and light. This is a selection of these photos.
Fuji GSW680III, Kodak Portra 160.

Contax g2, Zeiss Biogon 21mm f/2,8, Agfachrome 200.
Fuji GSW680III, Agfa RSX 100.
One day I arrived to work only to find out that it was gone. It felt really strange, like an absence of a friend. I felt like documenting the empty space that remained as a kind of a closure.
Mamiya RZ67, 75mm f/4,5 shift, Kodak portra 160.
Imagine my surprise when, after several weeks, I found the car in another spot nearby. Haven't checked on it since taking this last shot below. I hope it's still there and doing fine.
